Do you have a retail location?

Yes, our seeds and gardening supplies are stocked in a 3000 square foot store front that you are welcome to visit. We also have gardening supplies like seeding trays, soil mixes, tags, tools, pest controls, and fertilizers. Our greenhouse is open around the middle of May and stocked with vegetable and herb seedlings.

When is your store open?

We are open year-round; our hours do change based on the season.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit Card: VISA or MasterCard.

Cheque: We reserve the right to delay shipment of order until the cheque clears the bank or to refuse cheque as a payment method. Cheques are cashed upon receipt of order. No Post-dated cheques. For store purchases: Orders under $250.00 - cheques with valid ID accepted. Orders over $250.00 we accept cheques only from customers in good standing for more than 2 years.

How do you ship orders?

We ship by Commercial Canada Post. If you would prefer to use Fedex or UPS, please ask for a quote. 

Do you ship orders to the USA or Internationally?

Due to Export regulations, we do not ship orders outside of Canada.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can pick up your order. Pick up orders will be held for 7 business days after the customer is notified that it is ready for pick-up. After 7 days, the order is considered unwanted and will be restocked for other use. No refund or credit will be granted to any garlic, onion, or gladioli pick up orders that are pre-paid but not picked up. Once the customer is notified the order is ready, it is their responsibility to pick up the goods. No pre-orders taken for Asparagus roots. It is only available for pickup on a first come, first serve basis. If you want to pre-order, it must be shipped out for $8.95.

Do you offer a Large Order Discount?

5% may be deducted from orders where the seed portion is over $350.00 if paying by cheque or money order, 3% if paying by credit card, E-Transfer, or Debit in store. Discount is applicable to catalogue pricing only. It does not apply to specially priced or quoted items. Discount applies to seed only and is applied before taxes on sub-total. Discount doesn’t apply to hardgoods, rootstock, onion bulbs, garlic bulbs, or glad bulbs.

Do you make substitutions?

As the seed industry does experience crop failures or seed shortage, it is our company practice to provide, when possible, substitute varieties for any that are not available. We attempt to choose a substitute that resembles the unavailable one as close as possible. If you do not want a substitute, please indicate so when you place your order and we will cancel the item instead of providing a substitute.

How do you handle backorders?

We try our best to ship orders without backorders however sometimes items are delayed do to crop issues or supply problems. In this case backorders will be shipped upon arrival of items at no cost to the customer.  If there are multiple items backordered we do try to consolidate shipments.
