Trigonella foenum-gracum Seeds and leaves are commonly used in cooking in the Indian subcontinent (Methi sag). It is native to Mediterranean, referenced in Egyptian and Roman culture. Also used as imitation maple flavouring. Clover-shaped leaves and pea-like yellow flowers are interesting in the garden or in shallow containers.
